Charles Waymon Tomberlain founded Tomberlain Insurance Agency in 1958. Three years later he purchased land in Hallsville, from Mr. Hall, that would eventually become the Tomberlain family ranch. For years Charles and Chuck Tomberlain ran registered Beefmaster under the T-3 Brand on this land. Today that same T-3 brand is the logo for Tomberlain Insurance, signifying the "Knowledge, Experience, and Energy" that you can only get from a 3rd Generation Agency. Charles and Chuck always dreamed of having an office in Hallsville. With the whole family finally living in Hallsville, Agency Principal Cole Tomberlain decided it was finally time to turn dreams of the leaders before him into reality.

Cole and Kendall have lived in Hallsville since they were married in 2014. In 2018 they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy Liam Tomberlain, who can't wait to be the 4th generation in the family business!
Cole graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.B.A., majoring in Business Communications and Legal Studies. After returning to Longview to join the family business, Cole became heavily involved in a long list of non-profits. He was the founding chairman of Bourbon & Bowties, the official fundraiser for the the Longview World of Wonder’s Hands on Discovery Center. In just 4 short years, this event netted over $500,000 for the museum. Cole was also a founding board member of the Young Professionals of Longview, which has grown to over 180 members in just a few short years. In addition to his non-profit work, Cole is also on various advisory boards and committees. The one closest to his heart is the Stephen F. Austin Nelson Rusche College of Business Advisory Council. Cole serves alongside Ken Murphy, CEO and President of Mattress Firm, Gary Lee Ashcraft, United Way CEO, Jason Crager Production Operations Manager for Lockheed Martin, and a small handful of other executives who also graduated from SFA.
At the age of 23, Cole took over both Charles Tomberlain Insurance Agency and Tomberlain Properties following a family crisis. Under Cole’s leadership, the Good Lord has blessed their agency with a number of awards including the Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, the Safeco Insurance President’s Award for 8 consecutive years, and the Award of Excellence. The Agency was even inducted in to the Foremost Insurance Hall of Fame in 2016.

Morgan and her husband Ronnie live in the Hallsville subdivision of Germantown, and their oldest daughter Charlotte is a proud Bobcat in the first grade at Hallsville East Elementary.
Morgan grew up in the insurance agency, learning the business from her father and grandfather. Her brother, Cole Tomberlain, has always said if she would have come straight into the business, he probably would not have had a job! She recently sold her boutique, Morgan Abbigail, after 10 years so she could join the family insurance business. Morgan is excited to be the catalyst in the launch of the Hallsville office, and she is especially proud to have the first Tomberlain Insurance satellite office in her community of Hallsville.
Morgan enjoys being a member of the Hallsville East Elementary PTA where she serves on the hospitality committee and volunteers with Charlotte’s class every chance she gets. Her oldest daughter Charlotte is also a member of the Bobcat Belles Dance Company and plays in the Hallsville Girls Softball Association which keeps Morgan even more active in the Hallsville Community. Morgan and Ronnie also have two younger daughters, Charleston and Savannah. You are sure to see their family at community events- Western Day’s is a family favorite!
In her spare time, Morgan loves to volunteer with the Junior League of Longview where she is a ten year member; The First Baptist Church of Longview children’s department where she has been a church member since she was a child; the Wee Learn Center where she serves as treasurer for their PPO and previously served as PPO President for three years. Morgan has also served multiple years on the Bourbon & Bowties committee raising money for Longview WOW Children’s Museum, American Heart Association’s Golf for the Heart Tournament Chair, and taught Junior Achievement just to name a few of her favorite commitments.
Morgan and Ronnie are happy to have planted roots in Hallsville and look forward to raising their three daughters there while pouring back in to the community. Morgan is excited to now work in Hallsville as well at the Tomberlain Insurance Hallsville office.

Chuck Tomberlain graduated from Longview High School then Stephen F. Austin State University, where he met his life long soulmate Babette. Chuck and Babette both graduated from SFA with a B.B.A. in General Business.
Chuck returned to Longview to follow in his father’s footsteps. Under Chuck’s leadership the agency was recognized by Safeco Insurance Company with the H. K. Dent Award which is only give to the top 2% of their agents nationwide. Chuck has personally been chosen for the Award of Excellence 11 times by Safeco and has been chosen by Safeco’s management team to serve on their Agency Council (an honor given to less than 1% of top of agents).
Away from the agency, Chuck loves spending time here in Hallsville at his T3 Ranch. To him there is nothing more exciting than riding his Ranger with his granddaughters Charlotte and Charleston and his grandson, Charles William Coleman Tomberlain II, whom he has affectionately named “Deuce”.
Babette has held several positions at the agency over the last 33 years from accountant to commercial lines CSR but when the agency marketing position became open she felt it was time to get back in the family business. Babette is also the property manager for B&C Properties.
Her spare time is spent enjoying her grandbabies and traveling.
